dh-make software package provides tool that converts source archives into Debian package source, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dh-make
dh-make is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dh-make package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dh-make *
You will get with dh-make package name, version, architecture and description in a table
